More and more people spend their free time recreating other historical eras. With an enormous sense of authentic details. They look to the Viking Age, the Middle Ages, the 18th century, etc. For some, historical reenactment, or living history, has become a way of life.
The documentary-series Chrononaut is a portrait of the Norwegian reenactment environment. The title alludes to the Greek word for “time traveller”.
