Corpus Obscura

“The images have a reminiscent feeling of the artwork of Lucian Freud, Joel Peter-Witkin, and Egon Schiele. You are showing the world an imperfect body in times when perfection is overly glorified. I am torn on whether this is a good thing or a bad thing. Either way it is a bit uncomfortable, because I do not want to say anything bad about (their) body, but yet we can all see that child rearing and age have taken a tole. Is this something to be admired or ashamed of? I am not sure. It is lovely work, a bit difficult, and that is good, not every piece of art needs to be beautiful, some can be more challenging.”
